National Bank Limited holds its 22^nd EGM & 37^th AGM on 12^th October, 2020. The Bank has used the modern technology to fight against the current COVID-19 situation instead of physical presence of the participants. A valiant freedom fighter Zainul Haque Sikder, the Sponsor Director of National Bank Limited & Chairman of the Bank presided over the meeting.

The other Directors of the Bank Mrs. Monowara Sikder, Director & EC Chairperson Mrs. Parveen Haque Sikder (MP), Alhaj Khalilur Rahman, Moazzam Hossain, Rick Haque Sikder and Mabroor Hossain, Independent Director Md. Naimuzzaman Bhuiyan Mukta, the Managing Director (CC) and Company Secretary of the Bank ASM Bulbul and DMDs of the Bank were present in the meeting along with around 400 shareholders. In the AGM 5% Stock Dividend & 5% Cash Dividend were approved for the year ended on the 31st December, 2019.

In the EGM held at 11:15 am, the authorized Capital of the Bank was increased to BDT.5000 crore from BDT.3000 crore. The AGM began at 11:30 am on the virtual platform, there in his inaugural speech The Chairman, asserted for result oriented efforts and dynamic activities from the executives, officers & staffs of the bank so that the bank may have a significant growth in the upcoming days. He also expressed his firm determination to allow more dividends in future. Honorable Chairman of the Bank put an end to the AGM thanking all the participants for joining the virtual platform and to step forward in reforming the Digital Bangladesh.
