    Education Loan

    NBL Education Loan is partially secured term loan facility (EMI based) for students to support their admission/education fees, semester fees for study at home/abroad. This scheme is for meeting the fund requirement for higher education for children of salaried persons in Govt./Autonomous bodies/Multinational Co./Banks/Insurance/Financial Institution/ with  03 years confirmed service and businessman having adequate cash flow.

      Age Limit:

       

      For Student:

      • Minimum age of the student 17 years
      • Maximum age of the student 40 years

       

      For parents:

      • Maximum age at the end of the loan tenor 60 years

       

      Loan amount:

      • Minimum: Taka 50000.00 (Taka Fifty Thousand) only.
      • Maximum: Taka 500000.00 (Taka Five Lac) only.

       

      Repayment Tenure:

      • Minimum: 12 (Twelve Months
      • Maximum: 60 (Sixty) Months

       

      Interest Rate: SMART+3.75% rate of interest

    Eligibility

    • Salaried person: Minimum  2 year in total, with min. 6 months of continuous employment with present employer (Govt. employees must be on confirmed on job) & minimum monthly income of Tk.15000.00
    • Professional: Minimum 3 year of total practice in the profession  & minimum monthly income of Tk.20000.00
    • Businessman: Minimum 3 year of involvement in business & minimum monthly income of Tk.25000.00

    Required Documents

    • Passport or voter identity or driver license or employee ID of Ward Commissioners certificate with photo attachment
    • Employer certificate for service holders of firm/Salary certificate/Salary Slip.
    • Borrower & Guarantee details with   receipt color photograph
    • Copy of updated tax pay certificate
    • Bank Statement for last 06 months
    • Copy of utility bills
